Well, we hear about a few more hardships, and find out that the white haired cell mate had his finger chopped off for joining a Russian gang (the main character is in jail for stealing vodka off an old woman!). Then, the ship that the cell is in is shot down by enemy guns, and crash lands in the forest. And then? Freedom? Only if they can reach Czechoslovakia's borders alive!
